We are very happy to welcome Katherine Nickerson, OD, who is originally from Houlton, to the Casco Bay EyeCare team. Now living in Portland, Dr. Nickerson can be found running, hiking and enjoying friends in her free time. Dr. Nickerson received her doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and graduated with a bachelor of science in biology from the University of Maine. Her interests include pediatric optometry, vision therapy and binocular vision management, as well as diagnosing and managing conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and dry eye. Dr. Nickerson looks forward to meeting new patients at our office in Portland’s Old Port and at our new Westgate-area office.
